Christmas Themes

The layout is a very adaptable one, and can take many forms. The Christmas theme started in 1997 when the G-Wizz team organised a charity Christmas exhibition to raise funds for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution's Lytham Lifeboat Station. The view below shows G-Wizz at the exhibition which, of course, was opened by Santa Claus arriving in a lifeboat as his sleigh was being serviced.

Following the success of the 1997 RNLI show, the G-Wizz Christmas layout has been invited to attend several exhibitions. It generally appears at the G-Wizz Christmas exhibition in December, together with other Christmas themed exhibits.

As a result of the 1997 show, the G-Wizz team regularly hold a Christmas themed exhibition to raise money for a chosen charity. Since 1997, we have raised in excess of £2000 for various local charities.
